How do I measure my drain plug?

If you find that your engine is not listed on our website, we recommend contacting a local dealer, taking your original drain plug to a hardware store or mechanic for identification, or measuring the plug dimensions yourself using a vernier caliper. 

You will need to measure both the diameter and the pitch of the threads. Additionally, you should determine if the plug uses pipe threads. If the plug is tapered and functions without a gasket or washer, it is likely a pipe thread design. Once you have this information, use our size chart to find the corresponding Fumoto valve.
