How to tell if my vehicle has low ground clearance
Vehicles come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Some vehicles are closer to the ground than others.
But what qualifies as high ground clearance?
Great question! Vehicles with high ground clearance have 9 inches or more between the ground and the lowest point of the vehicle. Please note that the lowest point of the vehicle is not always where a FUMOTO valve will be installed.
Some good examples of high ground clearance are SUV's and pickup trucks. The Nissan Titan is a great example of high ground clearance:

OK so, what qualifies as low ground clearance?
Another great question! Vehicles with low ground clearance have 6.5 inches or less between the ground and the lowest point of the vehicle.
Some good examples of low ground clearance are sedans and sport vehicles. The 2016 Mercedes Benz SL-Class is a great example of low ground clearance:

Please note that we do not recommend installing long nipple valves (N-type) if they can only be installed facing straight down!
