How long does a Fumoto valve last?

You can expect our product to outlast your engine; many of our customers have used the same Fumoto valve for over 20 years.

In most cases, you do not need to replace the gaskets or O-rings. However, if you remove the valve and reinstall it into the oil pan, please replace the gasket or
O-ring at that time. If you notice oil leaking from the gasket area, replacing it will typically resolve the issue.

We recommend purchasing a few extra gaskets to keep on hand just in case.
