Do I need a lever clip to use a Fumoto valve?
(For F-type valves)
(For SX valves)
Lever clips are not a necessary component to install or use a Fumoto valve; however, they provide extra security for the valve lever.
By using a lever clip (included with all F-type and SX valves), you reinforce the valve lever. The clip fastens to the head of the valve to prevent the lever from moving if hit by road debris. It also serves as a helpful reminder to close the valve completely, as the LC-10 or LC-10SX lever clip cannot be installed unless the lever is in the fully closed position.
